Researchers from medicine and science, the Charité – Universitätsmedizin / Humboldt-University Berlin, the Fraunhofer Heinrich Hertz Institute Berlin, Institute for Cognitive Neurology at the Universitätsklinikum Leipzig, the Max Planck Institute for Human Cogntitive and Brain Sciences in Leipzig and the medical technology company HASOMED GmbH from Magdeburg, use the possibilities of virtual reality, so that patients can be examined and treated in computer-animated 3D worlds. The endeavour is supported by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research. The project duration is December 2017 to at least August 2021.
